The Origins of Ripples Pattern
Ripples Pattern Design takes just two curving arc shapes – one red, one blue. They are then flipped, rotated and repeated to build a series of ripples.
Design Progression
With so many possibilities I had to narrow down the choice of colour variations. So each design one uses only two colours making the design more graphic.
Final Colour Variations
My first colour scheme was red and blue, but beyond this I actually preferred more subtle sludgy colour combinations which look more sophisticated.
